Hello and welcome to the beautiful hellscape of bad dogs 🎉
I'm Hannah, I'm 34 and I live in the UK.
I have been illustrating for as long as I can remember but I started macdaddyillustration after my partner and I adopted our 7 year old beagle x whippet, Mac, from the RSPCA in 2021. Mac came with his challenges (to say the least), between severe reactivity to dogs/strangers/anything that moved, general anxiety, noise phobias and separation anxiety, life was pretty tough! We sadly lost him in October 2023 and have since been navigating life without him. It's amazing how much you can miss the chaos.
We have since adopted Erika, who is very different to Mac in most ways, but one thing they do have in common is their big feelings about other dogs. I guess we're destined to always share our home a chaos goblin of some sort.
With all the things I've learnt about dogs over the past 5 years, I felt inspired to create something which could support a community of people with dogs, challenging or not, who cheer one another on as well as connecting with others to relate and commiserate.
